Fun
We use interactive games to develop a "fun" atmosphere were children learn about God.
Safe
Your children's safety is very important to us. Our team is dedicated to providing a "safe" and "clean" environment for children.
Exciting
We present energetic music and kid-inspired worship. This worship enables children to experience the presence of God weekly.
Baby Dedication
We are so excited that you are considering baby dedication! The Bible teaches us that parents should point their children in the right direction and when they are old they will not be lost (Proverbs 22:6). Jesus parents dedicated Him to the Lord (Luke 2:22–40).
Dedicating a child acknowledges God's sovereignty not only over the child, but also the parents. Parents present their child before God asking for wisdom and grace in carrying out their responsibilities. Also, parents come praying that their child might one day accept
Jesus as Savior.
At New Pilgrim we provide opportunities for baby dedication for children. To schedule a baby dedication contact us.

Water Baptism
We encourage and introduce children to Jesus through our weekly services. As they begin to learn and understand who Jesus is, we teach them about water baptism. Water baptism is an important spiritual experience; therefore, we advise parents to wait until their child is asking to be water baptized.
Throughout the New Testament, the Bible teaches that baptism is a public expression of worship symbolizing the new life we have when we follow Jesus. In the Bible we see that Jesus was baptized (Matthew 3:16–17).
We believe in total immersion in water based on personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ. Pray to God for direction and speak with your child about their decision to be baptized.

The following answers show that your child understands what it means to accept and follow Jesus:
1. When did you decide to follow Jesus and become His forever friend?
Your child should have a specific memory of when he or she understood what Jesus did, and that he or she needs Jesus in their life. It may have been at church, at home, or even sometime when they were alone.
2. What does it mean to be water baptized?
It means I’m following Jesus. It means I’m a Christian and I want to show the world. It’s a picture of what Jesus has done on the inside of me.
3. Why do you want to be water baptized?
Because Jesus was baptized and he tells us to be baptized also. Because I’m a friend of Jesus and I want to follow Him.
If your child is ready to be baptized, their next step is to attend Step One of the Pilgrim Growth Track.
